These 5.5mm x 120mm countersunk wing tip self drilling screws are designed for fixing timber to heavy section steel up to 12mm drilling thickness. The wings ream the timber to reduce binding, then break off on contact with steel so the partially threaded metric shank can self tap cleanly. Made from case and core hardened carbon steel with a zinc finish, they suit 50mm to 84mm timber sections.
