Shipping policy
Orders over £90 - FREE DELIVERY*
*A small number of larger items will require a pallet charge and this is stated clearly on the product page for those items. There is a carriage paid order value, which if reached will mean you still get FREE delivery, this will be be stated on the product pages also.
Next Day Delivery*
Orders containing only stocked products and placed before 3pm Monday–Thursday are sent via express 24-hour service for next business day delivery. Cut-off extends to the next working day for orders placed after 3pm Thursday or when the next day is a bank holiday. We aim to dispatch same day, but this may shift by one extra day during peak periods.
Stocked items ordered before 3pm dispatch same day for next working day delivery. Longer-ETA items are typically sourced directly from suppliers. Mixed in-stock and non-stocked orders dispatch only when all items are available.
Scotland & Northern Ireland
The cut-off for next day delivery to Scotland and Northern Ireland is 12:00 midday, Monday–Thursday (adjusted for reliable carrier performance in these regions).
Orders placed after 12:00 midday, after 3pm Thursday, or when the next business day is a bank holiday dispatch on the next available working day.
Please note: some larger items will need to be sent on a 48 large service, which is noted on the product page.
Ordering More Than the Displayed Quantity
You can order more than the displayed quantity shown on the product page. Additional stock will be sourced directly from our supplier, and your order will ship once all items have arrived. This may extend delivery times beyond the stated ETA.
Part Shipment
If your order includes both stocked and non-stocked items, your order will normally be shipped once all items are ready. However, if you would like us to send available items first and the rest later, we can arrange a part shipment.
Please contact us here to request this option. Additional delivery charges may apply depending on order size and shipping method.
Pressed for Time
If you are on a tight deadline for parts, we would always advise you call ahead if you are purchasing items that are not currently in stock, to ensure we can meet your deadline, as lead times on products pages are estimated based on our usual delivery time for that item.
Also, if you are buying for your own home, we ask that you only book your electrician in to do work once you have everything you need in hand. If suppliers advise of delays out of our control, we will do everything in our power to source your items elsewhere but we cannot guarantee delivery in time for non-stocked items.
Hours of Operation
Our warehouse team operates Monday - Friday.
Our store is closed on Bank Holidays so this will delay estimated delivery times by 1 business day.
Couriers
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number that can be checked using the DPD tracking service. You can also view any current delivery disruptions on the DPD service updates page.
Please note that you may receive your tracking number before DPD has collected the parcel from us. If no tracking information is available yet, please check again after 5pm, once the day’s parcels have been collected from our distribution centre.
Please note: If you place your order after 3pm, the tracking information may not update until DPD collects the parcel on the following working day.
If your items are being shipped directly from one of our suppliers, we may not always be able to provide a tracking number. You can call us on 01424 220384 and we will be happy to contact the supplier for an update. We can only do this once you have received an email confirming that your order has been shipped.
Pallet Delivery
Pallet charges may apply for some bulk items, as stated on the product page. Please note this is a roadside delivery only, so you will need to have suitable access at your property for a pallet truck as well as somewhere suitable for the pallet to be delivered. The delivery drivers will not be able to offload the contents of your pallet, so please ensure you arrange for assistance if ordering heaters/radiators for example that are difficult to lift. Please note that our standard pallet delivery is 48 hours.
